Tennessee's a brother to my sister Carolina

I guess I will make this post a long one, since I just started... I will jump into my life::

So I have returned from one of the best weeks of my life. One of my best friends, Will Hunt, got married this past weekend on Kiawah Island. I had some extra vaca days, and I was long overdue for a visit to a friend from Dallas. So I decided to take a couple of extra days off and hang out in Charleston before the matrimonial festivities.

Wednesday October 1st:
Lawson picked Will and me up, and we headed to the airport. Will and I decided to grab a bite before boarding. So we finish up and board our 2x2 tiny little airplane... I really felt like a sardine in this one... we land in Charleston, which by the way, is one of the nicest little small airports I have been in before. As I greeted outside by my friend, I see her car: a miata... Keep in mind, I am 6'5" 320 pounds and this car was made for smaller girls... yes I was a sardine yet again.

That night I had a glass of delicious Firefly, then we headed out to a local bar: Gene's Haufbrau. This place was amazing. I had a couple local beers and was happy.

Thursday October 2nd:
I decided I really wanted to be a tourist, especially since I hadn't been to Charleston since I was a little kid. Barbara toured me around like a pro. We hit Market Street, King Street, Lowcountry, and a bunch of other places. That night we met up with her friends and had a nice hangout/apples to apples session.

Friday October 3rd:
Picked up the rental car:The Silver Bullet. Swung by and picked up Lawson from his hotel. Then we did some more touristy stuff while waiting for Colin and Debar. Well Joel's flight from laGuardia was delayed a good hour and a half, so we went back to Gene's and played some shuffleboard... Yes I dominated. I didnt lose a single round when it counted. We picked up Joel and headed out to Kiawah.

Such a gorgeous place!! Met up with the rest of the wedding at the Hunt's house and had a nice pipe load with Andy.

Saturday October 4th:
BEACH DAY
played tons of volleyball! of course my team won! We then went back and got ready for the rehearsal dinner and a night on the town. The Rehearsal was delicious and gorgeous. After story hour with Lawson; Joel, Colin and I decided a night on Broad Street would be great, so we hit up Blind Tiger and met up with Barbara and her friends. It was such a great bar.

Sunday October 5th:
Brunch at the Hunt's house was great and the gatorade was much-needed. Took a little nap in the sun. Then we all got ready for the big day. The weather was perfect for a beach wedding. We all looked so good! Esp the groom and his brothers sporting their Vineyard Vines ties. The reception was up in the beach club. It was spectacular!!! and since there were no single girls there, the guys had to show the world how to dance!! We tore it up!

Monday October 6th:
Woke up bright and early to take Colin and Joel to the airport. Decided I had time to go back to Kiawah one last time. Picked up Lawson and we went back to Charleston for lunch at the Crab House and more tourism. finished our day and flew home

All in all, I can barely describe the awesomeness that was achieved on this trip. I wish I could live in Charleston!
