Saturday was GAME DAY. i went to help out with SMU Engineering thing first. then I hit up the Boulevard. We may not have won the game, but the day was ours!

A New Season has Fallen upon us!!

So it may be early in the week but it has started off interesting. I had my consult today with the Dr who will performing my surgeries in February and March... apparently it is a very common surgery (for 65 year old women) awesome... i am now wearing my support hose, which of course rules!! right...

Halloween was fun. I dressed up as Duffman, from the Simpsons.

I think I did an okay job making my costume...

The weather is sooo gorgeous today. driving around looking at the pretty trees and the sky is just breath taking. God really knew what he was doing when he created earth!!

Well tomorrow is a big day. Everyone get out and vote. And we should all pray for our nation, because right now there is a 4 year dark cloud approaching...

Pre Halloween Weekend

So it has been a relatively slow week for me, what with all my ankle problems. I am laying low until tomorrow to try and work out again. This past saturday we had a little Fall Festival party. It was a fun time. Popcorn machine and such. We all dressed up:
Phillip is The Brawny Man
Sophie is A Nurse
Will is Ryu
Laura is a Ski Bunny
Elizabeth is A Good Witch
I am the Nor'Easter Man

it was a good day all around, and my feet didnt hurt at all. i was happy. Then i picked up colin and we went to Will and Alex's Wedding Shower. it was great! The Born's drove in from texas. it is always good to see texas people.

so today has been an absolutely beautiful day. i woke up naturally, bought some new shoes and insoles for workouts, voted McCain/Palin, had lunch with Will, ordered some new phone parts, and now am cleaning up my room. Good Day all around. Tonight is Farm O Ween and i will surely post pictures if i get any.

Get excited, tonight is a new Gossip Girl!!!!

Saturday Mornings at Work

So I am sitting here at work, getting ready for the day to start.

I would like to thank anyone who was praying for my legs. I think they are doing better! I was able to take a warm shower today, so that is good. I have order my support hose, CANT WAIT FOR THAT!!

awesome. it is sad that when I search for the 30-40 mmhg chap style hose, all I can find is pictures of women and old men in them... great. I have the legs of someone who is retired in florida!

well anyhow, I will start slowly working out again Monday. my weight has been stagnate around 320. So hopefully I can break that barrier for the first time since 2004. That would be great.

Last night we had Young Life leadership. It was great. We had an awesome prayer time. I was pumped. And I got to see my awesome friends from Houston Club. Then MUS destroyed Briarpatch. It was fun to see all the Camo.

I hope if anyone is reading this blog, they enjoy it!

Almost Saturday!!

So Thursdays are normally the long, dragging day in the store... but with the buzz about the big cookout this Saturday, and calling all my customers it actually went by quite well.

Around 11am I went over to Wang's to enjoy my usual Beijing Pork Chop (amazing)... and when i returned I got AMAZING news!! we could pick out our free mannequin outfits for fall!! so i got some of the new Baby Cords and some long sleeve shirts and a sweater (see picture... but in blue).

Then I called some more folks... I hit the gym and it felt good.

PS everyone should come out to the store saturday from 11-3!!

I added a weight tracker widget. so yall can track how i am doing... January 1, 2008 i was 362... i want to be 300 by new years 2009 and 275 by april fools day! keep my honest yall!

Tennessee's a brother to my sister Carolina

I guess I will make this post a long one, since I just started... I will jump into my life::

So I have returned from one of the best weeks of my life. One of my best friends, Will Hunt, got married this past weekend on Kiawah Island. I had some extra vaca days, and I was long overdue for a visit to a friend from Dallas. So I decided to take a couple of extra days off and hang out in Charleston before the matrimonial festivities.

Wednesday October 1st:
Lawson picked Will and me up, and we headed to the airport. Will and I decided to grab a bite before boarding. So we finish up and board our 2x2 tiny little airplane... I really felt like a sardine in this one... we land in Charleston, which by the way, is one of the nicest little small airports I have been in before. As I greeted outside by my friend, I see her car: a miata... Keep in mind, I am 6'5" 320 pounds and this car was made for smaller girls... yes I was a sardine yet again.

That night I had a glass of delicious Firefly, then we headed out to a local bar: Gene's Haufbrau. This place was amazing. I had a couple local beers and was happy.

Thursday October 2nd:
I decided I really wanted to be a tourist, especially since I hadn't been to Charleston since I was a little kid. Barbara toured me around like a pro. We hit Market Street, King Street, Lowcountry, and a bunch of other places. That night we met up with her friends and had a nice hangout/apples to apples session.

Friday October 3rd:
Picked up the rental car:The Silver Bullet. Swung by and picked up Lawson from his hotel. Then we did some more touristy stuff while waiting for Colin and Debar. Well Joel's flight from laGuardia was delayed a good hour and a half, so we went back to Gene's and played some shuffleboard... Yes I dominated. I didnt lose a single round when it counted. We picked up Joel and headed out to Kiawah.

Such a gorgeous place!! Met up with the rest of the wedding at the Hunt's house and had a nice pipe load with Andy.

Saturday October 4th:
BEACH DAY
played tons of volleyball! of course my team won! We then went back and got ready for the rehearsal dinner and a night on the town. The Rehearsal was delicious and gorgeous. After story hour with Lawson; Joel, Colin and I decided a night on Broad Street would be great, so we hit up Blind Tiger and met up with Barbara and her friends. It was such a great bar.

Sunday October 5th:
Brunch at the Hunt's house was great and the gatorade was much-needed. Took a little nap in the sun. Then we all got ready for the big day. The weather was perfect for a beach wedding. We all looked so good! Esp the groom and his brothers sporting their Vineyard Vines ties. The reception was up in the beach club. It was spectacular!!! and since there were no single girls there, the guys had to show the world how to dance!! We tore it up!

Monday October 6th:
Woke up bright and early to take Colin and Joel to the airport. Decided I had time to go back to Kiawah one last time. Picked up Lawson and we went back to Charleston for lunch at the Crab House and more tourism. finished our day and flew home

All in all, I can barely describe the awesomeness that was achieved on this trip. I wish I could live in Charleston!
